The 1944 New York Giants finished with a record of 67-87. They scored 682 runs and belted 93 home runs to go along with a .263 batting average. Mel Ott led the team in home runs with 26. The offense was powered by Joe Medwick, who led the team with 85 RBI and 165 hits.

The team allowed 780 runs and had a team ERA of 4.29. Bill Voiselle led the pitching staff with 21 wins and 161 strikeouts. Ace Adams was the team's best fireman, with 13 saves.
