The 1940 Cleveland Indians finished with a record of 89-65. They scored 710 runs and belted 101 home runs to go along with a .265 batting average. Hal Trosky led the team in home runs with 25. The offense was powered by Lou Boudreau, who led the team with 101 RBI and 185 hits.
