The 1929 Cleveland Indians finished with a record of 81-71. They scored 717 runs and belted 62 home runs to go along with a .293 batting average. Earl Averill provided the power for the team with 18 homers. The offense was powered by Lew Fonseca, who led the team with 103 RBI and 209 hits.

The team allowed 738 runs and had a team ERA of 4.05. Wes Ferrell led the pitching staff with 21 wins and 100 strikeouts.
