The 1928 Philadelphia Phillies finished with a record of 43-109. They scored 660 runs and belted 85 home runs to go along with a .267 batting average. Don Hurst led the team in home runs with 19. Pinky Whitney knocked in 103 runs. Fresco Thompson led the team with 182 hits for a .287 average.
