The 1926 Detroit Tigers finished with a record of 79-75. They scored 793 runs and belted 36 home runs to go along with a .291 batting average. The offense was powered by Heinie Manush, who led the team with 14 home runs and 188 hits. Harry Heilmann was the best run producer with 103 RBI.

The team allowed 829 runs and had a team ERA of 4.41. Earl Whitehill led the pitching staff with 16 wins and 109 strikeouts.
