The 1917 New York Yankees finished with a record of 71-82. They scored 524 runs and belted 27 home runs to go along with a .239 batting average. Wally Pipp led the team in home runs with 9. The offense was powered by Home Run Baker, who led the team with 71 RBI and 156 hits.

The team allowed 558 runs and had a team ERA of 2.66. Ray Caldwell and Bob Shawkey were tied for the team lead in wins with 13. Ray Caldwell struck out 102 batters to lead the team.
