The 1917 Cleveland Indians finished with a record of 88-66. They scored 584 runs and belted 13 home runs to go along with a .245 batting average. Jack Graney and Elmer Smith were tied for the team lead in home runs with 3. Braggo Roth was the best run producer with 72 RBI. Tris Speaker led the team with 184 hits for a .352 average. Ray Chapman had a great year on the basepaths with 52 stolen bases.

The team allowed 542 runs and had a team ERA of 2.52. Leading the team in wins was Jim Bagby, with 23. Stan Coveleski racked up 133 strkeouts to lead the team.
