The 1904 Philadelphia Athletics finished with a record of 81-70. They scored 557 runs and belted 31 home runs to go along with a .249 batting average. Harry Davis led the team in home runs with 10. Danny Murphy knocked in 77 runs. Lave Cross led the team with 176 hits for a .290 average.

The team allowed 503 runs and had a team ERA of 2.35. Eddie Plank was the winningest pitcher, with 26 games won. Rube Waddell racked up 349 strkeouts to lead the team.
