The 1901 Detroit Tigers finished with a record of 73-61. They scored 742 runs and belted 29 home runs to go along with a .279 batting average. Jimmy Barrett and Ducky Holmes were tied for the team lead in home runs with 4. Kid Elberfeld was the best run producer with 76 RBI. Jimmy Barrett led the team with 159 hits for a .293 average. Ducky Holmes had a great year on the basepaths with 35 stolen bases.

The team allowed 696 runs and had a team ERA of 3.30. Roscoe Miller led the team with 23 wins. Ed Siever struck out 85 batters to lead the team.
