The 1899 Cincinnati Reds finished with a record of 83-67. They scored 856 runs and belted 13 home runs to go along with a .275 batting average. Jake Beckley and Kip Selbach were tied for the team lead in home runs with 3. The offense was powered by Jake Beckley, who led the team with 99 RBI, 171 hits. Kip Selbach had a great year on the basepaths with 38 stolen bases.

The team allowed 770 runs and had a team ERA of 3.70. Noodles Hahn led the pitching staff with 23 wins and 145 strikeouts.
