The 1898 Baltimore Orioles finished with a record of 95-53. They scored 933 runs and belted 12 home runs to go along with a .302 batting average. Dan McGann led the team in home runs with 5. Joe Kelley was the best run producer with 110 RBI. Willie Keeler led the team with 216 hits for a .385 average. Gene DeMontreville had a great year on the basepaths with 49 stolen bases.

The team allowed 623 runs and had a team ERA of 2.90. Doc McJames led the pitching staff with 27 wins and 178 strikeouts.
