The 1896 St. Louis Perfectos finished with a record of 40-90. They scored 593 runs and belted 37 home runs to go along with a .257 batting average. The offense was powered by Roger Connor, who led the team with 11 home runs and 72 RBI. Tommy Dowd and Tom Parrott were tied for the team lead in hits with 138.
