The 1890 Boston Beaneaters finished with a record of 76-57. They scored 763 runs and belted 31 home runs to go along with a .258 batting average. Herman Long provided the power for the team with 8 homers. Steve Brodie was the best run producer with 67 RBI. Tommy Tucker led the team with 159 hits for a .295 average. Herman Long had a great year on the basepaths with 49 stolen bases.

The team allowed 593 runs and had a team ERA of 2.93. Kid Nichols led the pitching staff with 27 wins and 222 strikeouts.
