As many of you know, tomorrow is Wednesday, July 11, the day after the MLB All-Star game. As such, tomorrow is one of the only (if not the only) day of the year where there is no MLB, NFL, NBA or NHL action. Thus, ESPN has nothing to talk about, and we sports fans could be left discussing the pot odds on Jeniffer Tilly's fated all-in at the most recent WSOP. However, here are 5 things sports fans can do on July 11 in order to avoid sports junkie withdrawl.
5) Watch one of the two WNBA games that are on during the afternoon.
4) Watch a classic sports movie. I suggest Slapshot, Field of Dreams, Brian's song, or Hoosiers.
3) Watch whatever sporting event you have on video. I usually watch game 6 of the 2000 Stanley Cup playoffs when Jason Arnott scores in double overtime to clinch the Devil's second Cup.
2) Pretend Wii Tennis is Wimbeldon and you are Roger Federer.
1) Spend time with your loved ones. Ech. There has to be a better option. Anyone? We need at least 5 more.
