...We the jury, find he Barry Bonds guilty on all counts and charges. Good, now Mr. Bonds, your time. As the jury finds you guilty you have been sentenced to fourty years in prison without bail. This...this, is outrageous! I am the all time home run champ, hall of famer, what the hell did I do to deserve this? You know what you did Bonds. I never was a fan of yours, I almost vomited when you broke that record and than again for every home run you hit afterwards. What you done, you deserve longer than fourty. I hope you rot in prison. And I hope you burn in hell! exclaimed Barry. Get this disgrace out of my courtroom! yelled the Judge. F@!k you ass-h**e! Kiss my black ass! Burn in hell! yelled Bonds as he was forced out of the courthouse and straight to prison.

One month earlier...

...Thank you so much for stopping by Mr. Irvine. We know what you have done in High School and we are eager for you to come join this franchise. said Orlando Garrison, owner of the Boston Red Sox. Now I know I am a rookie but I do believe I will be able to make a immediate impact for this great franchise. responded Lionel Irvine, a eighteen year old rookie drafted and preparing to sign with the Boston Red Sox. We know what you are capable of, we have seen your performance throughout your years, now with the fall of the Giants Dynasty its a true race out their, and its up to us as a team to win that trophy! exclaimed Garrison. You don't have to worry about me. Alrigh than, lets get down to buisness.

...Enough dad! I do not want to play for the Giants! Their just a failure! A failure, a f@$&@!g failure you say! How does five straight World Series sound! They won them all with steroids! I refuse to throw away my career! If you dare go to Boston, and play for those god damn Sox your career won't even start. They have no place for a rookie! Shut the hell up! I refuse to follow your path, you are just a fat ass drug abusing piece of s@!t! And your not my god damn son! If you want to go to Boston, than go! Here's your god damn bags, your plane ticket, everything! But once you fuck up don't come running here! You are not my son! Goodbye...ass h@#e! Never, ever, come back!

...I know mom but I have to do this! Listen I promise I'll be back with plenty of money! It will make up for everything. Christian, you can't go, I need you. I'll be all alone! Mom, I need this. Ever since I was a boy I dreamed of playing for the Red Sox. Listen, after this season I'll have enough money to make you better. We can get you that cure, mom, please understand! No! Please don't leave! I need you, you're all I have left. Without you I have no reason to live! Mom you will live! Listen we will buy that cure! No, it won't work, I'll die of this s@!t! Mom... No! You won't leave! Than young mans mother than takes a gun out and aims it directly at her son. Mom, I need to do this, for me, for the Sox, for you! Please understand! I...I...I'm sorry! The mother than drops the gun. Give me a hug mom! I love you. Do what you have to do! It will all be alright mom. Goodbye! I love you! I love you to mom, bye.

The Boston Red Sox had made the decision to add three of the best rookies in the country, all straight out of High School, all recently turned eighteen years old. One was a pitcher, another was a Shortstop, and the last was a Center Fielder. The Red Sox these players would make a massive defensive and offensive improvements for the Red Sox.

Christian Ivy...Pitcher from Detroit, Michigan...Drafted in 2021 by the Boston Red Sox...reports to Boston on February 10th, 2022 to sign contract and arrive for Spring Training...Lionel Irvine...Shortstop from Boston, Massachutes...Drafted in 2021 by the Boston Red Sox...reports to sign with the Red Sox on February 6th, 2022...Candis Pearl...Center Fielder from San Fransisco, California...Drafted in 2021 by the San Fransisco Giants...refused to be a Giant and became a Free Agent...reports to Boston on February 11th, 2021 to sign with the Red Sox. All three rookies were going to be given three year deals worth a average first round draft pick value. Contract negotiations were settled on February 14th, when all three were officially signed.

On February 17th, Christian Ivy was the last Red Sox pitcher to report to Spring Training down in Fort Myers were the Red Sox training camp was located. Christian was late by a few days but as soon as he arrived he proved to be the best pitcher their. He had a arm like no other, he made the veterans Jon Lester, Daisuke Matsuzaka and Josh Beckett look like amateurs. In simulation games he sometimes had a no-hitter and when he did not he had given very few hits or runs. He had proven himself as a big time pitcher, he could also hit that ball, multiple simulation games were played in which he came in to bat and blasted a home run far out of City of Palms Park. On February 28th, just a few days before the first Spring Training game began, third year Red Sox manager Kevin Youkillis told Ivy that a good Spring Training performance would determine if he would be a starting pitcher this season.

When Candis Pearl and Lionel Irvine reported to Spring Training on February 21st, 2022 they were also a little late. However both came in and proved what they could do, hit the ball out of the park, and play great defense. Candis Pearl and Lionel Irvines performance was so great that Youkilis said if they had a good spring training performance, it would come with a starting job.

With the Red Sox looking extremely hot, the Sox went out and made one of the most genious moves ever. To some concerns dumb but later in the season it would pay off. On March 1st, Alex Rodriguez, a fourty-seven year old free agent, reported to the Red Sox Spring Training camp days before the BoSox first Spring Training game. He was their with no doubts at all, and confirmed by the Red Sox to sign.

A-Rod, once a great overachiever was now a great underahiever. In 2007 Alex Rodriguez became the 22nd member of the 500 Home Run Club and finished the season with 55 homers and 519 overall for his career. From 2008 to 2012 A-Rod was one of the most feared sluggers in the game. During those five seasons he hit 221 home runs, 71 of them were during the 2008 season. Unfortunately in 2013 A-Rod quitely died down with four homers and a season ending injury. He was released by the Yankees but he than came arround to play for the Florida Marlins who were relocated and renamed to the Miami Sharks in 2013. Alex played with the Sharks for 4 years from 2014 to 2017, during these years he won three AL Pennats, 2015, 2016, 2017, and one World Series in 2016. Is performance during these seasons was not the greatest. Over these four years Rodriguez hit just twenty homers, despite at the end of the 2017 season he had passed Hank Aaron for second all time with his 764 career homers, their were rumors circulating of his retirement. The rumors got worst when his contract was sold to the team he never wanted to play for, the San Fransisco Giants, and Barry Bonds.

It was unknown but believed that Barry purposely sat A-Rod out of every game during 2018 and 2019 just so A-Rod would not break Barry's homerun record. However in 2020 A-Rod had to come in, he played a few games that season as a replacment but in 4 of his 10 games he hit a homer, one game he hit two. He eventually sat at 769, one from tying Barry's record. Unfortunately A-Rod did not play again that season and was released by Bonds during the off-season. Bonds said, we don't want him, we don't need him. A-Rod did not play in 2021, he sat around as a free agent refusing to retire. He said it was not about the record, it was about proving them wrong.

The Red Sox knew what Alex Rodriguez wanted, a second chance. He wanted Barry Bonds to realize that record belonged to the Rod. The BoSox signed A-Rod to a four year deal. He was clearly expected to do work for the Sox. The Sox had been dominating the AL East for years now, the Sox were one of few teams who's none of their players were using drugs. Yet the Yankees had a good number of players using many drugs. The Red Sox were ready to take their division by storm, best defense, best offense, Fenway was going to come alive. A-Rod proved he was willing to do whatever it took for the Sox during training camp in early March, and now Spring Training was less than a week away.

The Red Sox roster was deep, Pitchers: Daisuke Matsuzaka, Josh Beckett, Jon Lester, JoJo Franco, and Christian Ivy. Shortstop Lionel Irvine, First Baseman Cale DiMarco, Second Baseman Quentin Woods, Third Baseman Alex Rodriguez, Center Fielder Candis Pearl, Left Fielder Brandon Deltron, Right Fielder Izuke Koroshima, and Catcher Tedy Ruth, who is the Great-Great Grandson of Babe Ruth. With plenty of reserves a star designated hitter in Yizuka Koromoto, the Red Sox seemed invincible.

...so do you believe that this Red Sox Franchise is ready? asked a reporter. We are here, we know its just Spring Training, but next twenty games we will show the world that this year is ours. replied Red Sox manager Kevin Youkilis. Welcome Boston Red Sox Fans to the first game of Spring Training 2022! We have a great Pre-Season matchup, today the Sox battle their ultimate rival! The New York Yankees here in City of Palms Stadium in Fort Myers, Florida. I am George Martin here with legendary commentator Marv Albert, today is the opening day for Spring Training 2022. As we all know the Red Sox seem invincible on paper, but are they really? stated George Martin. Indeed, also today Boston unveals its three rookie superstars, including starting pitcher Christian Ivy, who is the highest paid rookie pitcher in MLB history. Sure these games do not count but for these players its a chance to prove themselves, and what better way than against the Bronx Bombers. Well it seems everyone is ready and in place for the start of the game, all of the pre-game events have been concluded and the Yankees are up to bat here in the top of the first inning at City of Palms Park in Fort Myers, Florida, concluded Martin.

The First Pitch of this Spring Training is ready to go, twenty games, which team will prove they are ready for the big season. said Marv Albert.

Barry Bonds will die of liver failure from the stuff he has put in his body by 2018 at the latest. Not only that, but he WON'T be the All time Home Run Champ in 2022. Tiger Woods (being a SF bay area resident like Bonds) will never buy a baseball team let alone the Red Sox...

Ooooooh! This is fiction!!! OK...

<end sarcasm font>

I don't have a problem with that, but if you're going to go to the trouble of making all this up, make it REALLY unbelieveable (then it's more realistic)!

Barry Bonds - owner of the Montreal Red Sox, perhaps?

2022 is a LONG time away...

I see... so you can have "fun", but no one else can?

2022 - Michael Nicobrasi Jr wakes up to realize he is still living in 2006... not 2007 mind you, 2006.

P.S - Telling your 'readers' to "stop bothering you" is a surefire key to success! Keep it up!

What did they steal of worth? Even you call it "shit"... And "the way I have"? Do you have copyrights on "The Possibility of Possible Futures"?

How old are you? You aren't the first sports fiction writer... Every idea you have ever had has already been done (at least twice)!

Originality is more than imagination, hombre. All I'm asking is for you to try... at least a little harder... You aren't the only one reading this, so keep the rest of us in mind and worry about the "thieves" a little less!
